House burgled, gold snatched

Nagpur: In two separate incidents some unidentified person broke open the lock of a house and stole Rs 1,00,000 from a house and in another incident the miscreants snatched the gold chain worth Rs 80,000 of women while she was returning home from market.

According to the police in the first incident some unknown miscreants broke open the lock of the front door of the a house belonging to Abhay Dattopant Mathure resident of Gharkul society, Flat No.158, Maharudranagar coming under Hudkeshwar police station, when he had gone to office. The miscreant entered the house and stole Rs 1,00,000 from the almirah. On a complaint from Abhay Mathure PSI Sahare registered a case under section 454, 380 of IPC.

In second incident one Meghana Prabhakar Olkat, 42, resident of Bhagwaghar Layout, Plot No. 10 was going home after making purchases when suddenly two person came from behind in front of Vivek Ranade’s house near Sugandh Mangal Karyalaya corner and snatched her chain worth Rs 80,000. Sitabuldi police have registered a case under section 392 of IPC.
