Nagpur News : Gittikhadan police have booked in-laws of a 29-year-old woman for provoking her to commit suicide on September 14. As per details, Priya Sonal Mishra, aged 29 and a resident of MB Town, Mankapur, had hanged self to the ceiling fan at her residence with the help of a dupatta. She was rushed to Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital but doctors declared him brought dead. Gittikhadan police registered a case of accidental death and started their investigations.
It was revealed in the investigations that Priya was married to Sonal Vinaykumar Mishra , a resident of MB Town, Bandhu Nagar, Zingabai Takli. Soon after her marriage, Sonal along with his mother Suman Mishra, father Vinay Kumar Mishra, brother Chanchal Mishra and sister-in-law Priyanka Chanchal Mishra, started abusing and harassing her for dowry. As per information, Priya was torture both mentally and physically for quite some time. Finally on September 14, she lost her patience and decided to end her life. Thus, she hanged herself and committed suicide.
On the basis of the Complaint lodged by Smriti Tiwari, Gttikhadan police have booked all the four accused under Sections 498 (a), 304 (b) and 34 of the IPC.
