Hudkeshwar cops book 2 in land grabbing case

Nagpur: Hudkeshkar Police, on Friday, initiated legal proceedings against two individuals in connection with a land grabbing case. The accused have been identified as Rajesh Shyamsunder Jaiswal (49), residing at Plot No 102, Wardha Road, near Sai Baba Mandir, and Sunil Mahadeorao Borkar (49), residing at Plot No 38, New Siddheshwari.

According to the police, Jaiswal, in collusion with Borkar, purportedly forged documents related to Plot No 32, Sushila Cooperative Housing Society, Mouza Chikhli, PHN 39, Khasra No 32/273. They allegedly sold the property without the knowledge of the actual owner, Anil Keshav Wasule, between June 12, 2002, and February 09, 2024.

Acting upon a complaint lodged by Wasule (60), a resident of Shree Colony, the police registered a case under Sections 420, 467, 471, and 34 of the IPC against Jaiswal and Borkar, commencing an investigation into the matter.
