Mumbai: A huge quantity of explosives, suspected to be RDX, was seized by Anti-Terrorist Squad in a raid on a bungalow at Nallasopara in Palghar district on Thursday night, police said.
The explosives were found at Bhandar aali in Nallasopara west, they added. The bungalow belongs to a man named Vaibhav Raut who has been arrested by ATS.

The ATS team was keeping an eye on the bungalow since last few days. On Thursday, the harmful content was found with the help of a dog squad, a bomb disposal agaent and a Nashik squad.
“A forensics team has been called and we are analysing the substance to determine if it is RDX,” he added.
Further investigation is underway.
