“Hum Aman” spreads the message of peace and harmony at book fair closing ceremony

In a heartwarming display of unity and culture, the “Hum Aman” group, conceptualized by Dr. Tejinder Singh Rawal, under the auspices of Aamozish-e-Urdu, spread the message of peace and harmony at the closing ceremony of the National Book Fair. The event took place on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at the Ursula Girls’ High School premises in Nagpur, India.

The event featured performances by a diverse group of artists and performers, including Sheetal Fulzhele, Rashmi Singh, Rajat Mourya, Sakshi Devte, Shounak Hirde, Vallabh Kaware, Kanak Masram, Sonal Hikare, Anjali Patil, Thunchchambemo Kikon, Tejal Jogewar, Dr. Jyotimani Rocque, Parvinder Singh, Savinay Meshram, Ashish Tamakhe, Anmol Nichat, Sonal Bisen, Mohnissh Zade and Bhoumik Patle.

Prominently present on the occasion included individuals from all walks of life, such as Saroj Vyas, Sudha Kashiv, Madhu Gupta, Ruby Das, Milli Pandey Vikamshi, Madhu Patodiya, Amita Shah, Madhuri Mishra, Narendra Parihar, Chandra Bhushan, Rajendra Patoria, Satyendra Prasad Singh, Anil Malokar, Monica Dixit, Kapil Sawaikar, Amarjit Singh, Rinku Matharu, Simi Rawal, Jigyasa Rawal, Reet Matharu and many others.
The program was anchored and produced by RJ Tejal and Parvinder Singh, who added an extra layer of charm to the event.

Mr. Avinash Bagde introduced the man behind the mission, Dr. Tejinder Singh Rawal, with great enthusiasm, underlining his remarkable efforts in teaching Urdu and fostering peace through the “Hum Aman” initiative.

The evening unfolded with captivating performances by the talented students of “Hum Aman.” Their repertoire included mesmerizing dance routines, soulful songs, enchanting poetry recitals, and a musical extravaganza, all meticulously synchronized to deliver a powerful message of unity and peace. The audience was deeply moved by the students’ exceptional performances, applauding their dedication and artistic talents.


Mr. Anay Pande had the honour of felicitating Dr. Tejinder Singh Rawal for his unwavering commitment to peace and harmony through “Hum Aman.”

As the event came to a close, Mr. Narinder Parihar proposed a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all attendees and participants. He commended “Hum Aman” for its commitment to spreading the message of peace and harmony.
