Nagpur: Shocking information has emerged that hundreds of people have been affected by food poisoning after consuming singada flour purchased from Golibar market in Nagpur for fasting on Mahashivratri. The affected citizens have been admitted to Mayo Hospital, WIMS Hospital, and Shantimohan Hospital in the city.’
Consuming the singada flour products has led to symptoms such as stomach ache, vomiting, and diarrhea affecting nearly 100 individuals. Consequently, those affected had to be swiftly admitted to hospitals. The news of this incident has spread rapidly throughout the city.

Speaking to ‘Nagpur Today’, Shiv Sena President Ram Kukde provided information about the incident.
Traders from Golibar Chowk in the old bazaar area of Nagpur had put up new stickers indicating expiry dates on singada flour products, causing confusion among customers. However, this led to numerous cases of food poisoning. Treatment has been initiated for those affected in hospitals.
