Actor-producer Anushka Sharma, who’s currently gearing up for the release of her film Sui Dhaaga, is excited by the opportunities that digital platforms offer. She reveals that she’s likely to enter the space soon.
“The digital medium is a very exciting space that’s creating lots of opportunities for people in the industry. It’s also giving the audience a chance to explore unusual topics that wouldn’t work in cinema. I love the digital space – I watch more web-series than movies. And we’re planning to get into producing digital content soon,” she says.
So far, Anushka’s Clean Slate Films has produced the films NH10, Phillauri, and Pari. We’re excited to see what’s to come.
Meanwhile, Anushka’s latest offering Sui Dhagha Made In India is based on the stories of self-reliance and high spirits of the two central characters, Mamta and Mauji, rooted in an earthy town of India.
