Chennai: Friday has been a busy day for the income tax department in Tamil Nadu, as it conducted searches against Tamil Nadu Health Minister C Vijayabaskar at over 30 locations in the state. Another person who felt the heat was Tamil actor and Nadar community leader Sarathkumar who found the tax authorities at his doorstep just a day after he promised support to the Sasikala faction’s candidate in the RK Nagar by-poll, TTV Dinakaran. Sarathkumar also runs a political party, the Samathuva Makkal Katchi.
