Nagpur :Over 100 women Self Help Group members and Maharashtra State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM) members from Wardha District were introduced to the lessons in entrepreneurship on Day One of the two-day workshop on Entrepreneurship and Business Management organized by IIM Nagpur on June 14, 2023.
In his inaugural address, Dr. Mukund Vyas, Dean, Executive Education, IIM Nagpur, appraised the participants about the essential skills for running and growing a business. He complimented them on their aspirations to scale up their business and learn from institutions like IIM Nagpur. Chief guest to the inaugural ceremony, Mr. Rohan Ghuge, CEO of Zilla Parishad, and Mr. Vishwas Sid, Project Director of District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), guided the participants. Prof. Gunjan Tomer was the program director.

Maharashtra State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM), Wardha District, has launched its brand called ‘Wardhini’ and opened outlets at different places. This workshop was organized to support them in building their brand and developing effective marketing strategies.
During the two-day workshop IIM Nagpur faculty guided the participants on various aspects of entrepreneurship. Prof. Gunjan Tomer deliberated on Business Management and Entrepreneurship & Harnessing E-commerce and social media, Prof. Ranjitha guided on lessons from marketing, Prof. Nikunj Kumar Jain spoke about Managing Operations, Mr. Ajay Kadu from MAGNET dealt with Marketing Agro Products. At the same time, Prof. Monika Dhochak gave tips on Managing Finances.
The workshop concluded on June 15, 2023.
