Nagpur: An important meeting of BJP MPs, MLAs and functionaries of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is being held at the college of MLA Sameer Meghe in Atre Layout area of Nagpur in view of upcoming Lok Sabha elections. In this meeting, discussions will be held regarding various elections such as Municipal Corporation, Vidhan Sabha, Lok Sabha etc. The meeting is being held in two phases in the presence of Atul Moghe, the Prant Pracharak of the Sangh.
In the first phase, the meeting of the BJP office bearers of East Vidarbha will be held and in the second phase, the meeting of the party office bearers of West Vidarbha will be held.
As the Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, BJP State President Chandrashekhar Bawankule are from Nagpur, this meeting today has a unique significance.
The strategy of how Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh could help BJP in the coming Lok Sabha elections will be decided in this meeting. MLAs and MPs from Vidarbha along with State President of BJP Chandrashekhar Bawankule will be mainly present in this meeting.
Bawankule said that the meeting with RSS leaders on Thursday is part of a ‘regular’ coordination meet. “Even I will be part of the meeting, please note this is a regular thing. We take stock of how the party has been ensuring that people receive benefits of Central and State Government policies. RSS and its Vichar-Parivaar’s role is to coordinate and it works in various fields also. So they will also share their views on what can be done by BJP to benefit the common people.”
