Nagpur News : An obsessed lover was rounded up in the police net after he made series of attempts to harass the girl who turned down his marriage proposal and has been distancing herself from him. The accused identified as Rahul Madan Chaudhari 20 has been pursuing the 18 year old girl continuously and was proposing the girl to marry him. However, the victim did not respond and kept ignoring the proposal. On April 6, 2014, the accused intercepted her near New Power Plant on Koradi Road under Koradi Police-Station at around 8:55 pm. As per the complaint received from the girl, Rahul had threatened her to kill if she would not accept her proposal. The girl quoted Rahul as saying, “love me or I will kill you”. She alleged that he slapped and fisted her. He even damaged her mobile. Koradi Police Station registered a case against the accused under section 354 (D) 323,506 (B) and 427 of IPC and arrested the accused.

Wadi police has arrested a man for making sexual advances towards a woman while she was on her way to home. The accused Kishore Ramji Bhovte, 32, resident of Ramji Ambedkar Nagar in Aathwa Mile made indecent gestures putting the woman in embarrassment. Kishore then dared forward and molested the women near MSEB Quarters gate. Wadi police sub inspector Bujade registered a case against the accused under section 354 of IPC and arrested him.
