Nagpur: In response to increased passenger demand during Dussehra, Diwali, and Chhath Puja, Indian Railways announces special trains. These festive services are aimed at providing comfortable travel options and reducing waitlists. Operating from Pune and Mumbai, these special trains will connect to Nagpur, Patna, Gaya, and other destinations. In total, Indian Railways will run 30 special trains to accommodate the festive rush.
Special Train Service Between Mumbai and Nagpur
Indian Railways introduces the CSMT – Nagpur Biweekly Superfast Special, offering commuters a reason to celebrate. This service will operate between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and Nagpur, providing a total of 20 trips. The train will make stops at prominent stations including Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Nashik Road, and Bhusaval.
Connecting Pune and Nagpur
For travelers between Nagpur and Pune, the Nagpur – Pune Weekly Superfast Special will offer 10 trips. Departures from Nagpur are scheduled for Thursdays, with Pune departures on Fridays. This train will make key stops at Wardha, Dhamangaon, Badnera, and Manmad.
