Indore cops to search for Directors of Phoenix Infra at Nagpur in fraud case

Team of Indore Crime Branch to arrive in city to seek help from local cops to help apprehend the accused

Phoneix-infraNagpur: After a massive search for the seven Managing Directors, Directors and officials of Phoenix Infrastructures Pvt. Ltd. at Indore and having failed to locate them, a team of Indore Crime Branch is expected to come to city within the next two days to seek help from Nagpur City Police Crime Branch in apprehending the accused absconding from Indore and to investigate and collect other information from the Nagpur Head Office of the company.

It could be mentioned here that a case of fraud, cheating and forgery was registered by hundreds of citizens of Indore against the seven Managing Directors, Directors and officials of Phoenix Infrastructures Pvt. Ltd. On the basis of complaints received, the Crime Branch of Indore police registered a case under sections 420, 467 and 468 (Cheating, Fraud and Forgery) of IPC against the Managing Directors, Directors and officials of Phoenix Infrastructures Pvt. Ltd.

The complainants have lodged a case against the seven accused namely:

1. Ahmed Jiwani, 2. Vijay Kumar Gautam, 3. Chairman of the company, Jitesh Nashine, 4. Brother of Jitesh, Yogesh Nashine, Third brother, Mahesh Nashine, Dinesh Chandrashekhar and 7. Pradeep Rathore.

On October 17, 2014, at 11:30 pm, a case against the seven accused was registered and they were booked for the offences. On October 18, 2014, these seven accused, three were detained for investigation into the alleged fraud committed by them. The three accused were sent on Magisterial Custodial Remand (MCR) and their remand has been since extended till November 2, 2014. However, when the Indore cops come to Nagpur, the three accused too would be brought to the city.
