Nagpur News : Recently Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Management Studies and Research (DAIMSR), Deekshabhoomi had organized an interactive session on Importance of Menstrual Cycle & Sex by Dr. Vaidehi Marathey, Ex-Secretary Nagpur Obstetrics and Gynecological Society.
The participants were MBA students (girls) of DAIMSR, Nagpur. All the doubts & concerns related to the topic were well explained & cleared by the speaker. The Guest speaker, Dr. Vaidehi Marathey, had practically explained the people present during the session about the importance of having proper knowledge about Menstrual Cycle and sex. Dr. Vaidehi Marathey, during her speech said that proper knowledge and information about the hormonal changes during puberty age is important and she also explained about the importance of menstrual cycle. She also said that the education about sex should be compulsory at the school level and college level because in this age is the time when mistakes are committed by the youngsters and proper knowledge will prevent them from committing blunders.

Prof. Ajay Gidwani from Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Management Studies and Research said that the main objective of conducting this program was to Celebrate Women’s Week by creating awareness among young girls about puberty, changes during menstrual cycle. He added that information and guidance about the hormonal changes in girls during this period are must for the young girls.
Ms Shruti Pillai, introduced the topic, Ms. Saumya Nair presented vote of Thanks & Prof. Ajay Gidwani Co-ordinated the programme.
