Nagpur : A team of Income Tax (IT) officials on Tuesday searched the office of Bajoria Constructions located in Darda Nagar area in Yawatmal district. The IT officials have reportedly found some irregularities in transactions, though more details in the incident are awaited.
As per sources, a team of IT officials from Nagpur reached the office of Bajoria Constructions at Darda Nagar in Yawatmal on early Tuesday morning. However, the company’s owner Sumit Bajoria was in Mumbai at that time. On getting the information, Sumit returned from Mumbai and reached his office. The IT officials then searched his office and reportedly found some irregularities.

It may be mentioned here that Sumit Bajoria is the younger brother of Sandeep Bajoria, who is known to be a close aide of Ajit Pawar, Maharashtra’s former Deputy Chief Minister and NCP leader. Pawar was an accused in the infamous irrigation scam in the State.
