The wait is finally over. Neha Dhupia and husband Angad Bedi were blessed with a baby girl on Sunday. According to a statement issued by her publicist, Neha delivered the child early Sunday morning in Womens Hospital in Mumbai, and both the mother and child were “doing great”.
Neha and Angad got married in a traditional Sikh ceremony in a Gurudwara in Delhi earlier this year amid the speculations of Neha’s pregnancy. Angad announced her pregnancy on Twitter in August by posting a series of photos. The pregnancy announcement came after months of speculation, and several appearances in flowing and loose attire making the paparazzi wonder whether it was an attempt to hide the bump. “Here’s to new beginnings… #3ofUs,” Neha had posted, sharing a series of photographs where the happy couple is posing, flaunting the baby bump. In one of the images, Angad is cradling the bump, and in one image, he is pointing at it.

The couple threw a lavish baby shower in the city on September 30. Many celebrities like Karan Johar, Soha Ali Khan – Kunal Kemmu, Preity Zita, Manish Malhotra, Janhvi Kapoor, Bhoomi Pednekar, Shilpa Shetty, Kabir Khan- Mini Mathur, Arshad Warsi – Maria Goretti, Atul Kasbekar, Suniel Shetty, Mana Shetty and others turned up for the baby shower.
The couple even made a video where they are seen doing the ‘Chogadawithlove’ challenge. This was one of their cutest video that went viral in no time where you can see Angad kissing Neha’s baby bump.
On the professional front, Angad Bedi was last seen in the Diljit Dosanjh and Taapsee Pannu starrer film Soorma while Neha Dhupia was last seen in Kajol starrer Helicopter Eela.
