Nagpur: With Christmas just two days away, preparations in churches and homes across the Nagpur City are on in full swing. The work on preparing a crib depicting the scene of Jesus Christ’s birth is in the final stages. The churches in the city are all illuminated with dazzling lightings and aesthetic decorations.

The Christian brethren are all busy in decorating their homes with colourful balloons, lights, stockings, swags, tree skirts, candles, garlands, figurines, balls, stars and much more.
However, prayers on the Christmas Eve and on Christmas could be held by following government norms in view of Omicron threat. The ongoing preparations at the churches and the markets buzzing with glittering gifts and decoratives eloquently tell about the zeal in the hearts of people to celebrate the gala day of advent of Jesus Christ.
