Nagpur: The term ‘Jugaad’ needs no explanation in India. Even kids know what it is. The Students from Grades 6 to 8 of The Achievers School, Nagpur were given an opportunity to use their creativity and imagination in a ‘Jugaad Innovation competition’.The activity witnessed active and enthusiastic participation from the student community.
The young scientists and inventors in the making,came up with models of a digital board for learning, a water siphon system, a pencil circuit, a torch using a plastic bottle, a water fountain, a water dispenser, etc. Mentors Mr. Zuber Ahmed and Mr. Pushpak Bhattwere the Judges for the competition. Dr. Priyadarshini Deoghare, Director- Academics and Principal of the School, motivated the young scientists and inventors to always have a scientific temperament.
Mrs. Sapna Katiyar – Director of the school too applauded the efforts of the students and the staff for putting up a good show,to stimulate the curiosity and creativity in the students&making them think out-of-the-box.
