Noted Marathi actress Kranti Redkar performed Ganesh Vandana to mark the inauguration of the three-day art festival. Her stunning performance was followed by yet another mesmerizing performance by singer Nandesh Umap.
Veteran Marathi actors Dilip Prabhavalkar and Reema Lagoo were honoured with Purushottam Darvekar Smruti Jeevangaurav Sanman during the inauguration ceremony on the festival.
The enthralling performance by noted classical singer Rahul Deshpande was a treat to the ears. The festival was inaugurated by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and his wife Amruta. The website of Kalarang was also released on the occasion at the hands of Amruta Fadnavis.
Art lovers from the city witnessed the inauguration ceremony in large numbers.
