Nagpur: To mark this year’s Dussera celebration as usual, Kasturchand Park in the city has been made ready for burning of effigies of Ravan, Meghnaad and Kumbhakaran, which have been artistically prepared and erected on the park-ground.
On the other hand, a traditional ‘Ghat-Yatra’ to mark Navaratra celebration of Goddess Durga was also taken out on the Ashtami (eighth day) of Navaratra, in which colourfully dressed women in red carried ‘kalash (ghat) on their heads in a well organized procession.
