Nagpur: The Koradi police have busted a gambling den operating behind a buffalo shed and arrested nine people involved in the illegal activity.
According to police sources, they received information about a gambling operation being run in a temporary tin shed behind a buffalo shed owned by Naresh Gorle in Chakki Khapa. Acting on the tip-off, the police conducted a raid around 5 pm on Sunday, where they discovered the ongoing gambling activity.
The police seized a total of Rs 31,800 in cash, mobile phones, and three two-wheelers, with the total value of the confiscated property amounting to Rs 1.53 lakh. A case has been registered against all the accused under the Maharashtra Gambling Act.
