Nagpur News: Kotwali police registered a case of murder against the father who attempted suicide with his 8-year-old daughter on April 10. Sources said, Pradeep Jaipurkar doubted the character of his wife and suspected that the 8-year-old girl Kashish was not his daughter. He used to beat her and his daughter in fit of anger.
On April 10, he went to his relative’s house and threw his daughter from the first floor and then he jumped on the pretext of saving her. Kashish breathed her last during the treatment while Pradeep sustained serious injuries. On the basis of preliminary investigations, Kotwali police had registered a case of accidental death. But, after conducting in depth investigation, Kotwali Police suspect it to be a murder. After gathering concrete information, Kotwali police registered an offence under Section 302 of the IPC against Pradeep for killing his daughter.
