Nagpur: At a grand event held at Nagpur’s Reshimbagh Ground on Saturday, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, along with Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, distributed funds for the second phase of the Ladli Behna Yojana as part of the Nari Sanman Mahasammelan, organized under the Women’s Empowerment Campaign.

During his speech, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis took a dig at the opposition, addressing concerns about the continuity of the Ladli Behna Yojana. He pointed out that some people are advocating for the discontinuation of the scheme. “I have brought the papers with me. Congress leader Anil Wadpalliwar has approached the High Court to halt this scheme. This is the same person who was the election chief for Congress State President Nana Patole and MLA Vikas Thakre, and is known as the right-hand man of former minister Sunil Kedar. Understand their intentions,” Fadnavis remarked.

We’ve also given a 50% discount to women on ST buses. If you want these initiatives to continue, then give us your blessings.” His passionate appeal was met with strong support from the audience, reinforcing the commitment to continue the Ladli Behna Yojana.
