Lalita Public School students set a record, create 60 by 21 feet tricolour on R-Day

Nagpur: Students and teachers of Wardhaman Nagar-based Lalita Public School brought laurels to the city by creating a mammoth tricolour measuring 60 by 21 feet that fluttered on 69th Republic Day celebration at the school.

The Lalita Public School, under the guidance of its Director Chetana Tank, who is also senior BJP Corporator, organises newer and newer programme to mark national events as well as festivals. On this R-Day, the students and teachers of this school set up a record of sorts by shaping the gigantic tricolour.

According to the Director of the school Chetana Tank, apart from imparting quality education, Lalita Public School organises an array of programmes and events for all round development of students. This helps in reducing burden of regular study.

Earlier also, the school had organised Dahi Handi, various other sports events, tree plantation, International Yoga Day, cultural programmes, Janmashtami, Rakshabandhan, Guru Pournima, street plays for road safety awareness, drawing contests etc etc. The school has also undertaken visits of police stations, post offices, arts and science exhibitions for its students.
