Nagpur: Ambazari police have booked a lawyer on the charges of not only duping a woman client to the tune of Rs 50,000 but outraging her modesty as well.
The complainant 28-year old woman told police that she handed over a court case to the accused Adv Bhayyasaheb Bhide (45), resident of Ramnagar, Telangkhedi. However, despite taking the case the accused lawyer did not put up the case in courts. On the other hand, the accused Bhayyasaheb Bhide procured a ‘bogus’ court order and gave it to her. When she came to know of the court order being fake, she demanded explanation from the accused lawyer.
Enraged by the demand, the accused advocate allegedly hurled filthy abuses on her and indulged in obscene actions and thus outraged her modesty. Moreover, the accused thrashed her severely and did not return Rs 50,000 taken from her for the court case, said the woman in her police complaint.

Ambazari Lady PSI A L Waghmare, acting on the complaint, has booked the accused lawyer Bhaiyyasaheb Bhide under Sections 354, 420, 466, 294 of the IPC and launched a full-scale investigation into the matter.
