Nagpur: In an unconfirmed development, a leopard reportedly attacked and took away a person at Dabha locality in West Nagpur on Wednesday. This information was given by some citizens and public representatives to Gittikhadan Police. However, confirmation is awaited.
Notably, residents have sighted leopards at Dabha many times in the last fortnight. Leopard also killed a few stray dogs.
When Nagpur Today talked to the Police Inspector of Gittikhadan Police Station, he said that he had personally visited the spot on Wednesday. Forest Department personnel were also called. He said that no person was attacked and taken away by the leopard. It is all rumours, he stressed.
