A lewd boy not only molested a 16-year old girl in filmy style but also snatched her purse containing cash and mobile phone. Now, the accused boy is being searched by cops.
The complainant girl (16) was returning home after her tuition class on her two-wheeler (MH-31/BM 3709) around 7.45 pm on Wednesday. At the same time the accused boy Abhay Sadanand Mehar, resident of Ayodhya Nagar, started chasing the girl on his Activa. The accused Abhay stopped the girl in Gosiya Colony, Ring Road Turning and started talking with her. The accused said, “Tu majhya sobat bolat ka nahi?” “Majha phone ka uchalat nahi?” (Why don’t you talk to me? Why don’t you respond to my phone call?) However, the girl refused to talk to the accused Abhay and also stared angrily at him. Enraged by the girl’s cold response, the accused suddenly snatched the girl’s purse containing Rs 3000 in cash, mobile phone worth Rs 1000 and key of the two-wheeler and fled the spot. Taken aback by the accused Abhay’s heinous actions, the girl straightaway reached the Hudkeshwar Police Station and lodged a complaint against accused Abhay.
