Nagpur News: Nandanvan police have arrested a lewd man on the charges of raping a 5-year old girl. According to police, the accused is idendified Umesh alias Umaji Gangaram Lambat (36), a resident of Shiv Chhatrapati Society, Wathoda Layout.
On, Thursday, the accused Umesh called the girl to his house by luring her with some eatables. The kid, unaware of evil designs of Umesh, went to his house. After offering the eatables, Umesh raped the girl. When the shell shackled girl reached home, her parents were taken aback by seeing her in disturbed condition.
The 5-year old girl narrated the incident to her parents. The bewildered and outraged parents immediately lodged a complaint with Nandanvan police against Umesh. Police arrested Gopal under Section 506 read with sub section 8 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act 2012 and probing the matter further.
