A man is on mission. Mission to make life of his near and dear ones and even strangers full with vivid, vibrant, vivacious colours of life, colours of joy, colours of happiness, colours of friendship, colours of love and all other colours they cherish to paint in their life. And with this mission, he himself makes his life pink, pious and proud. Money is never a barrier to his lifelong mission. He himself is a story of rags to riches. The man on mission is Shiv Agarwal, Managing Editor of Rashtradoot Newspaper and an Invitee Member of Indian Languages Newspapers’ Association.
The rags to riches story have taught a few lessons to him. Enjoy every moment of life and also make life of others happy and cheerful. With this mission, Shiv Agarwal has been organizing Holi Milan since the past 10-12 years. And this year too, the festival of colours was organized at Suraburdi-based colossal Rashtradoot Farm on Amravati Road. The Holi Milan was as majestic and marvelous as Shiv Agarwal himself.
Around 300 guests including aged and kids participated in the grand celebrations. And they were welcomed by Shiv Agarwal family by offering and greeting them with special attires fit for Holi, “Pagdi” (Turban or head-dress), dazzling flowery garlands, flutes, peacock feathers, bright colours and Gulal and other welcome traditions of importance. A massive tank full of coloured water was there for the guests to have a splash reminiscent with memorable moments.
The Holi Milan went musical and the guests were swaying, dancing in their own styles and fashion to the beating drums of famous singer Payal and Group of Orchestra, Dance Troupes, DJs. And for taste buds, the spicy “Chanachoor” and yummy dishes of different varieties turned the Holi Milan a treasure of life to be cherished.
