Lightning kills two, injured two in Saoner

Nagpur News : Two labourers died while three others were injured in lightning in Saoner Taluka at Pandrakhedi on Thursday evening.

Ramnavmi Parteki and Golu Yadav, both in their 20s, died on the spot while Ravi Udavi, 20 and Ravi Kumr Maravi, 28, has suffered serious injuries. Both injured have been brought to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in city.

Police said that the labourers were busy working in the farm owned by Damu Raut when it suddenly started raining. The labourers took shelter below a tree when the lightning struck through the tree and all four collapsed. Other labourers nearby rushed them to hospital.
