Bhandara: The rainy season continues to bring incidents of lightning strikes. On Monday, a significant incident occurred in the district’s Mohadi tehsil.
Six people working in a field were struck by lightning, resulting in the immediate death of two individuals and severe injuries to four others. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

In Andalgaon of Mohadi tehsil, work was underway to plant crops. Around 12 PM, laborers were transplanting in the fields when lightning suddenly struck from the sky.

Two women laborers, Kalabai Gokhale and Sonkusre, died on the spot due to the lightning strike. Four others were injured and have been admitted to Mohadi Rural Hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment.
