LPG Scam Busted: Gittikhadan Police Catch Cylinder Agency Employees Siphoning Gas

A cunning racket involving the theft of LPG from cylinders before delivery has been exposed by Gittikhadan Police, leading to the arrest of two employees from a local cylinder agency. The scam was uncovered by a vigilant customer, Dayasagar Sureshrao Chavan, who noticed discrepancies in the weight of his delivered LPG cylinders.

On July 27, Chavan caught the employees, Ramesh Godara and Sudhendar Bhakharam Jani, siphoning gas from a filled cylinder into an empty one using a hose on a delivery truck. The employees confessed to using high-pressure regulators to steal gas from each cylinder, with 31 cylinders recovered from their vehicle at the time of arrest.
