Nagpur: RSS ideologue M G Vaidya took a potshot at Shiv Sena for its decision to end alliance with BJP civic polls across the state. “How come after being in power for 25 years it has realized that alliance has been useless and that too just before the elections?” quipped the RSS former spokesman M G Vaidya. He further said that if BJP and Shiv Sena contest the civic elections separately, it will only benefit Congress and NCP, said Vaidya while interacting with media and advised both the parties to ponder over it.
“The Government will not be stable if Shiv Sena withdraws support to State Government,” Vaidya said but hastened to suggest that in such case NCP can support BJP.
Fearing mid-term polls in the state considering an unstable government if NCP offers support to BJP then how to deny would be a question before the party leadership, Vaidya said.
Soon after breaking the alliance, BJP and Shiv Sena leaders are not leaving a single chance to scoff at each other. Now, it would be interesting to see how Shiv Sena reacts on Vaidya’s comment.
