Maharashtra 12th HSC Result 2019 Declared : 85.88% pass, girls outsmart boys again

Nagpur: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) declared the HSC or Class 12 results on Tuesday. Of the total 14.21 lakh students that appeared, 12,21,159 students passed with percentage being 85.88 percent, a decline of 2.53 percent as compared to last year.

As usual, girls have outsmarted boys with pass percentage of 90.25 percent. 82.40 percent boys cleared the exam. Konkan Division has the best pass percentage of 93.88 percent while Kolhapur has 87.12 percent.

The pass percentage in Science Stream is 92.60 percent, Arts 76.45 percent and Commerce 88.28 percent.

For the first time, 22 categories of Divyang students appeared for the exam this year.

HSC or Class 12 students can log on to the official websites mahresult.nic.in for additional information related to the results. However, due to an influx of students checking their results, the website might crash, for students are advised to check their results via SMS. The HSC examinations were held from February 21 to March 20.

Step 1: Log on to Google play store.

Step 2: Download ‘Maharashtra Board Result 2019, SSC/HSC Result’ app.

Step 3: Click on ‘Maharashtra Board 12th or HSC Exam Result 2019’.

Step 4: Enter your details.

Step 5: Download your results.

Steps to check the Maharashtra Board HSC Results 12th:

Step 1: Visit the official website mahresult.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage of the official site, you will find the latest announcement of the HSC results.

Step 3: Click on “HSC Examination Result 2019”.

Step 4: You will be redirected to a new page, where you will have to enter details like your roll number and your mother’s first name.

Step 5: Click on “view result”.

Step 6: You will be able to see your scores now.

Step 7: Save your results and take a print out for future reference.
