Maharashtra Finance company employee looted at knife point

Three people were booked for assaulting and looting a finance company employee at knife point at Kadbi Square on Saturday evening.
The victim Baljit Singh Sehgal, 30, a resident of Buddha Nagar, has been undergoing treatment at a private hospital. He works with Maharashtra Finance company at Gaddigodam.
On Sehgal’s complaint, police has booked the accused identified as Aakash Kothulwar, 22, and his two unidentified friends. He told police that he and his colleague Rahul Dahiwale, were heading on bike to collect the cash at head office at Gaddigodam when the trio stopped them and threatened them.

Sehgal claimed that he was carrying cash Rs 22,000. Kothulwar stabbed him and snatched away the cash bag. Police suspect either old dispute or planned robbery behind the incident.
