Maharashtra Governor presents Dhanwantari Award to Dr Nageshwar Reddy

Mumbai: Renowned gastroenterologist and Chairman of Asian Institute of Gastroenterology Hyderabad Dr D. Nageshwar Reddy was conferred the prestigious Dhanwantari Award in Mumbai on Sunday (26 March).

Maharashtra Governor CH Vidyasagar Rao presented the 44th Dhanwantari Award to Dr Reddy for the latter’s outstanding contribution to the medical profession. Maharashtra’s minister for medical education Girish Mahajan, former Union Minister and former Governor of Andhra Pradesh Sushil Kumar Shinde, President of Dhanwantari Medical Foundation Dr B K Goyal, Cardiologist Dr Lekha Adik Pathak, Vaidya Suresh Chaturvedi and Secretary of the Foundation Dr Jivraj Shah were present.
