Women and Child Development Department organizes Mahila Lokshahi Din at on the second Monday of every month. But, due to Akshay Trititya on May 13, Mahila Lokshahi Din will be held on May 14, Tuesday, at 11 am at Divisional Commissionerate, Women and Child Development Department, Patankar Square, Nari Road, informs a press release issued by the department.

It is to be noted that the public forum was organized specially for the women as the seldom openly discuss their problems. This forum aimed to hear their problem without making the complainants uneasy and uncomfortable with the surrounding.  The departments aims to provide a sense of security to the women through this forum.
