In a significant move, the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, has made a major announcement regarding the waiver of electricity bills for farmers. The state government has issued a Government Resolution (GR) concerning the waiver of farmers’ electricity bills.
According to Fadnavis, farmers will not need to pay their electricity bills for the next five years. He confidently stated that the current government would return to power in the upcoming elections and continue the waiver policy.
Fadnavis shared this information while speaking to the media after a meeting of the District Planning and Development Council (DPDC) in Nagpur today.
