Nagpur:Pachpaoli Police have arrested one Dikshit Janbandhu for allegedly killing his wife’s paramour at Shaitan Chowk here, on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Asif Ahmad Khan.

According to police sources, Janbandhu used to suspect that his wife shared an illicit relationship with Khan. The duo, over the same, often picked a fight. An offence in this regard had also been registered with Pachpaoli Police.
On Monday at around 10 am, Janbandhu intercepted Khan at Shaitan Chowk. He reportedly threw chilli power in Khan’s eyes and attacked him with sharp edged weapons. Janbandhu then picked a heavy stone and bludgeoned Khan to death in full public view.
Following the incident, the Zonal DCP Gajanan Rajmane and Police Inspector Sanjay Mendhe approached the spot. Cops have sent body for autopsy and registered a case of murder.
