Utter carelessness on the part of a man cost him dear when he was relieved os his Honda Activa, and Rs 4,00,000 cash kept in the dicky of the scooter.
According to police, the complainant Rajkumar Basakram Bhojwani (51), resident of Plot No. 153, Lane No. 1, Kasturba Nagar, Nagpur kept Rs 4,00,000 in the dicky of his Activa (MH-31/BS 0594) and proceeded towards Sant Ramdas Mandir under Jaripatka Police Station. When Rajkumar Bhojwani reached the Temple, he parked his Activa in front of main gate of Sant Ramdas Mandir and went inside the temple for “Darshan” but without removing key of the Activa. At the same time, a burglar on the prowl, took the advantage of the situation and fled with the silver-coloured Activa worth Rs 10,000 and Rs 4,00,000 cash kept in the dicky.

The Jaripatka PSI Shrikhande, acting on the complaint of Rajkumar Bhojwani, booked the unidentified thief under Section 379 of the IPC and investigating the matter further.
