Man from Madhya Pradesh kills brother-in-law in Beltarodi, Nagpur

Nagpur: Beltarodi Police have booked a 24-year-old man from Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, for allegedly killing his brother-in-law in the Shivangaon area late Monday night.

The deceased has been identified as Ravi Galichand Kahar (30), a resident of Harai village in the Chhindwara district. The police have booked the accused, Arun Annu Banwari (24), a resident of Goreghat village in the Chhindwara district, on charges of murder.

According to police sources, both Ravi and Arun work as construction laborers. They were working on the Shivangaon redevelopment layout plan. On Monday night, around 11:30 pm, an argument broke out between the two. As the situation worsened, Arun reportedly picked up a wooden stick and attacked Ravi’s head. With severe injuries, Ravi fell down in a pool of blood while Arun fled the spot.

By the time Ravi was rushed to the hospital, he had succumbed to his injuries. Beltarodi police, in the meantime, have registered a case of murder and launched a manhunt for the accused, Arun.
