Man, harassed over debt, commits suicide

Nagpur News: A man, harassed even after paying all the debt amount, committed suicide.

According to police, Pradeep Uttamchand Solanki (42), a resident of Gandhi Square, Imambada, ended his life by consuming a poisonous stuff. During investigation of the incident, police came to know that Pradeep was mentally upset. Pradeep had consumed the poison on July 29 and was found unconscious near the compound of Milind High School. Pradeep was spotted lying unconscious by Ajai Dongre (32). Ajai immediately informed the Imambada police who, too, rushed to the spot and took Pradeep to Government Hospital. However, the GMCH doctors declared Pradeep brought dead.

The Imamabada police registered a case of accidental death. However, during the detailed probe into the incident, the Imambada PSI Raut came to know that Pradeep had taken a loan from Dinesh Sevak. Pradeep had returned the entire amount of debt to Dinesh Sevak. However, Dinesh continued to hound for more and more money. The frequent demand for money by Dinesh frustrated Pradeep to such an extent that forced him to resort to the extreme step. Now, police have registered an offence against Dinesh Sevak for abetting suicide
