A driver of Indica Car lost control of the vehicle and dashed Praveen injuring him critically. The car driver took the critically injured man to the Max Care Hospital in Gittikhadan. But during the course of treatment, he passed away.

The relatives who were present in the hospital alleged that the man had died due to the negligence of the Doctors of Max Care Hospital who were attending to him.

When the irate family members started shouting and raising a big hue and cry over the death of the Praveen, the Gittikhadan Police personnel were summoned. Instead of pacifying the crowd, the police got insinuated and started Lathi charging the crowd.

It is alleged that the police severely bashed up the elder brother of the deceased Praveen. Angered by this the crowd had shattered all the glasses of the Max Care Hospital. The Gittikhadan area was reported to be tense after this incident.  The deceased is said to be having two sons and a daughter to mourn his death.
