Nagpur : A 29-YEAR-OLD man from Amravati raped a girl from Kamptee area.The two began their relationship through Instagram, a social networking site, Tehisl police said.
The accused has been identified as Farzan Gaffur Shah, a resident of Amravati. According to police, Farzan came in contact with the 20- year-old girl through Instagram in 2021.

Their friendship turned into a romantic relationship. The accused took the girl to a lodge and raped her for two years on the promise of marriage.When she asked for the marriage, the accused allegedly assaulted her.
On the complaint of the girl, the Tehsil police registered the case under Sections 376 (2) (n) and 506 of Indian Penal Code.
