Nagpur: Jaripatka police have booked a man on the charges of exploiting a woman sexually frequently with the force of life threat.
According to the complaint lodged by the survivor, the accused Mohd Farooq Sheikh Hamid Sheikh (35), resident of Agrasen Square, Gandhibagh, had sold a plot to her husband. From that day, she got acquainted with the accused. Subsequently, the accused started talking with her on phone. Between October 1 and 18, the accused Mohd Farooq phoned her and called her at Toll Post No. 2, Kamptee Road, Jaripatka and later forced her to sit in his i10 car (MH-49/5668) and took her to a lodge in Ramtek. There, the accused threatened to kill her and raped her forcibly. Moreover, with the life threat, the accused later took the complainant survivor to various places and exploited her sexually.
Jaripatka PSI Dake, based on the complaint of the woman, booked the accused Mohd Farooq Sheikh Hamid Sheikh under Sections 376(2)(N), 506(B) of the IPC read with Sections 3(1),(F), (1) of Scheduled Castes and Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. Further probe is underway.
