Man robbed of Rs 7 lakh cash in Lakadganj area

Nagpur: Utter carelessness on the part of a 50-year old man cost him cash of Rs 7 lakh.

Complainant Sanjay Kantilal Desai, resident of Plot No. 6, Rajendra Nagar, had gone to Telephone Exchange Square to repair the flat tyre of his two-wheeler (MH-31/BJ 3917). Surprisingly, Sanjay kept a bag containing cash of Rs 7 lakh dangling at the handle of his two-wheeler and got busy with the repairing of flat tyre. An unidentified person slyly removed the bag and decamped with the booty without being noticed by Sanjay.

Lakadganj PSI Nehare has registered a case under Section 379 of IPC and launched a search to nab the bag lifter.
