Manushi Chhillar Keen to Take up Acting Provided It’s For an Action Movie

Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar has said that she would love to star in an action movie if she ever gets the opportunity to work in the film industry. Manushi said she does not want to play the role of a damsel in distress but rather the role of a superhero. There had been talks of filmmaker Karan Johar being keen on launching her under his banner, but there have not been any developments as yet.

During an interview on Big FM radio station where she was present to celebrate women power, Manushi said she didn’t have any plans to star in movies and that everything has come as a surprise to her.

“I would like to do an action movie, and in which I am doing the action. I don’t want to be a damsel in distress. I want to be a superhero. I would love to do that,” IANS quoted Manushi as saying.

On when she will star in a movie, Manushi said, “I don’t have a production house, so I can’t tell you when my film will come. In life, all things have come to me as a surprise and I didn’t have any plans to do films. So let’s see how it goes.”

Manushi, who is pursuing a medical degree, said after winning the beauty queen pageant, she has been very busy travelling and meeting people across the world.

“It has been going pretty well. It has been eleven months since I have became Miss World. I have been to all continents of the world. I have travelled a lot and I met lot of people and last eleven months have been a roller-coaster ride for me. I have learned so many things in the last eleven months which I haven’t learnt in the last eleven years of my life. After all this, I don’t know what next year holds for me,” she stated.

When asked when she will be able to start seeing patients, Manushi said she hopes people never have to visit a doctor, but they can come to Dr. Manushi Chhillar after three years, which is when she will complete her medical studies.
