Nagpur: A married woman trapped a man, married with him and later blackmailed him for Rs 50 lakh and even threatened to kill him. The accused woman took help of a man who posed himself as a public servant and abetted the crime.
A resident of Flat No. 310, Rachana Vrundavan Apartment, Mankapur, the complainant Mohd Tariq Anees Ahmed (34) said that the accused Sameera Fatema Mukhtar Ahmed (35), resident of Kamptee, met him in May 2018. The accused Sameera, along with her accomplice, falsely convinced Mohd Tariq that she was married only once and proposed to marry with him. Later, after their marriage, the accused started blackmailing Mohd Tariq for recovering Rs 50 lakh and even threatened to kill him. Another accused named Anand Pawar, holding mobile phone number 8652183829, posed himself as a public servant and threatened Anjar Zia, brother of Mohd Tariq’s first wife. The bogus public servant also threatened to kill Mohd Tariq if Sameera’s demand of Rs 50 lakh is not met.
Mankapur API Hanvate, based on complaint of Mohd Tariq, booked the accused Sameera Fatema Mukhtar Ahmed and the fake public servant Anand Pawar under Sections 420, 387, 294, 170, 506(B), 34 of the IPC and launched a probe into the matter.
