Nagpur: A massive gas cylinder explosion occurred at Bablu Welding Shop in Hanuman Nagar, under the jurisdiction of Ajni Police Station. The blast resulted in a salesman’s leg being severed, causing serious injuries. The injured salesman was immediately taken to a medical hospital for treatment.
According to sources, an incense stick vendor from Shri Swami Sugandha Bhandar, who used to sell incense sticks daily, had stored his merchandise at Bablu Gas Welding and Electronic Welding shop since his own shop was closed. When he returned the next day to collect his goods, a severe gas cylinder explosion took place at the welding shop.
The explosion was so intense that it severed the salesman’s leg, leaving him severely injured and bleeding profusely. He was rushed to the hospital for urgent medical attention. Ajni Police have recorded the incident.
