Material worth 1.50 lakh stolen

Unidentified thieves stole material worth Rs 1.50 lakh from excavator machine control unit being used for excavation work at Pili river. The incident took place between November 8 and November 11.

On the complaint of Manohar Wamanrao Jeevankar (55), a resident of Plot No. 170, old Subedar layout, Jaripatka police have registered a case under Section 379 of the IPC.

Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has undertaken the excavation work at Pili River for which Hyundai’s Exacavator machines were being used. Some unidentified thieves stole materials worth Rs 1.50 lakh from the machine’s control unit between November 8 and 11. The complainant reported the theft to police after realising that some materials are missing.

Jaripatka police have started investigations in this regard.
